The hotel runs the Star Camp programme, which offers recreational and educational activities organised by age group: Monkey (4 to 7 years), Dolphin (8 to 12 years) and Eagle (13 to 15 years). Children can also enjoy a water park featuring a pirate ship, a paddling pool and access to supervised leisure facilities throughout the day.

The Iberostar Selection Paraíso Maya Suites features five à la carte speciality restaurants serving Mexican, Japanese, steakhouse, seafood and French cuisine. All these dining options can be enjoyed at no extra cost, although it is recommended that you book in advance via the hotel app for those restaurants that accept bookings.

Star Prestige offers preferential treatment and services such as priority check-in and check-out, personalised service at reception and a concierge service for bookings and arrangements. It also includes exclusive rooms and locations with upgraded amenities, access to certain areas and a beach lounge-bar with sun loungers and Bali beds, as well as priority booking for restaurants and activities, subject to availability.

The Iberostar Selection Paraíso Maya resort features a fully equipped gym, tennis and pickleball courts, and water sports such as diving and kayaking. What’s more, you’ll have access to the Iberostar Playa Paraíso Golf Club, an 18-hole professional course designed by P.B. Dye and situated within the resort.

Thanks to its location between Cancún and Playa del Carmen, it is very easy to get to the Xcaret, Xplor and Xenses parks from the Iberostar Selection Paraíso Maya Suites. You can also head to Playa del Carmen and stroll along the famous Quinta Avenida to do some shopping or enjoy the nightlife. Finally, the Mayan ruins overlooking the sea at Tulum are about an hour away.

The resort offers a range of suites, including Junior Suites, Junior Suites with direct access to the pool, and Family Suites designed for groups. All the properties feature luxury amenities and a private balcony or terrace, and are set within an architectural setting inspired by Mayan culture.

As a guest at the Iberostar Selection Paraíso Maya Suites, you enjoy privileged access allowing you to make full use of all the facilities, bars and swimming pools at the Iberostar Selection Paraíso Lindo, Iberostar Waves Paraíso del Mar and Iberostar Waves Paraíso Beach hotels, including the right to dine at their speciality restaurants, subject to prior booking and availability; however, please note that the only hotel in the complex to which this access does not apply is the JOIA Paraíso by Iberostar, as its facilities are reserved exclusively for its own guests.

The Iberostar Selection Paraíso Maya Suites does not have any areas exclusively for adults, as it is a family-friendly resort. However, there are premium services and access to select areas within the Iberostar Playa Paraíso resort, depending on the room category booked.

Yes, the hotel is adapted for guests with reduced mobility and has facilities designed to ensure accessibility throughout the complex. The hotel has ramps and level access at the main entrances, as well as high-capacity lifts connecting all floors of the suite buildings. In addition, the complex offers specially designed rooms featuring wider doorways, safety grab rails in the toilet and walk-in showers to make them more accessible for wheelchair users.
